HADRIAN/ Dead At Eleven/ Lit Like Vegas/ Third Lung
Hadrian have carved their well deserved place in the UK’s highly competitive rock music scene. The critically acclaimed rock band has recently broken the top 20 charts for the best rock group in London. With venues such as the 100 Club, O2 Academy Islington and Hard Rock Cafe under their belt, be sure to expect a special kind of repertoire.
The musical rollercoaster takes you on steep climbs and quick drops. The ride continues through dark caves and sunny hills, and it does so by grounding you into the present. Your feet never leave the ground but you may feel an inexplicable lightness in your body, and the uncontrollable urge to start rocking your socks off. It is a rock concert in London after all, and Hadrian like to go loud.
DEAD AT ELEVEN:
Dead At Eleven are a four piece band from London specialising in Energy Rock (EnRo). Driving guitar riffs, high energy bass lines and great vocal melodies form the spine of their sound and their captivating stage presence mean that their live shows have gained critical acclaim.
The band has a single mission: to make people dance, feel and forget about real life.
As much as we wanted it – the name does not reference a rare genetic mutation, but it points to the lead singer’s powerful and haunting voice. Honing their craft by regularly gigging in and around Reading and London, Third Lung have created a sound reminiscent of rock’s great bands but with a distinctly modern melodic edge. Their songs are compact, lyrically concise and hook driven. The six-song “Breaking Late” EP is evidence of this.
